Volunteer
A citizen desiring to volunteer at ECHC contacts Randall Brown, ED.D. HR Director/Volunteer Coordinator (812-421-7489 ext 2231 or direct line 812-602-2162) to arrange for an interview and/or complete the application above and mail or fax (812-421-7494).
All potential volunteers will be considered. At the interview, the volunteer learns about the history of our clinic, our commitment to respecting confidentiality and patient’s rights, and what sort of takes might be best suited for the individual’s skills.
ECHC makes every effort to support, encourage and direct the volunteers into the appropriate clinic and task to enhance a health fit. Training is individualized to meet the needs of the ECHC volunteer. Every volunteer will receive training on signing in/out, safety and fire regulations, HIPAA and Confidentiality, and basic telephone skills. The training time will vary according to staff availability and amount of time volunteered. Every effort will be made to complete in a timely manner.
