Text Messaging Terms & Privacy Notice
ECHO Community Health Care, Inc. may use text messaging to communicate with patients for purposes related to treatment, payment, and health care operations. These messages may include appointment reminders, scheduling updates, patient satisfaction survey links, billing-related notifications, care coordination messages, links to patient resources such as MyChart, and other health-related reminders or communications.
Participation in text messaging is voluntary. You are not required to consent to text messaging as a condition of receiving care from ECHO. However, opting out may limit our ability to send you timely reminders or updates by text.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Text messages sent by SMS or RCS are not fully secure and should not be used for emergencies, urgent medical needs, detailed health information, or sensitive questions. ECHO takes reasonable precautions to protect patient privacy and generally limits text messages to reminders, scheduling, general health care operations communications, links, or other non-sensitive information. If you send ECHO a message containing health information or a clinical question, ECHO may direct the message to appropriate staff for follow-up by phone, patient portal, or another appropriate communication method.
You may opt out of receiving Artera text messages at any time by replying STOP. You will receive a final confirmation message confirming your opt-out. Replying STOP opts you out of Artera text messages from the applicable text messaging line, but it may not update your communication preferences in Epic or other ECHO systems. To update your broader communication preferences, please contact ECHO directly. If you would like to rejoin, you can authorize us to restart by texting START.

ECHO does not sell or share mobile phone numbers, text messaging opt-in information, or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. ECHO may share information with service providers or vendors who help operate its text messaging services, but only as permitted by law and applicable agreements.
